Kritikala began with a simple thought — what if every saree bought could help change a woman’s life?
During visits to my hometown near Chanderi, I often watched women weavers at work. Their hands moved with grace and skill, creating beauty thread by thread — yet their stories were rarely heard, and their talent often went unseen.
That memory stayed with me.
Years later, I started Kritikala with one goal: To support women, through women.
We source all our sarees directly from women weavers across India, ensuring their work is respected, fairly paid for, and proudly showcased.
And because every woman deserves opportunity, a portion of our profits goes towards helping underprivileged girls and women access education.
